How much does rubbish removal cost in Glasgow?
On first call let us know what needs picked up and where it is to be picked up and we’ll offer you a free no obligation quotation. Prices depend on the volume, weight, and type of waste. Basic jobs can start from a single item at £60 for household rubbish, while larger clearances or construction waste may cost £400+. Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, NSH Waste Removal is a fully licensed waste removal company based in Glasgow. We hold a up to date waste carriers licence from the Environment Agency, which our customers are welcome to see. We also have employers and public liability insurance.

Do you offer same-day or next-day collection?
Yes NSH Waste Removal does offer same day or next day collection. It is beneficial for customers who want same day rubbish removal to call at the start of opening hours (8am) to be sure of getting this urgent pick up service. This does however depend on availability.
What happens to the waste after collection?
All your waste is securely removal and disposed of. NSH Waste Removal follows strict code of practices on all waste disposals.
We ensure after collection all waste is either:
- Recycled
- Donated where possible
- Sent to fully licensed waste transfer station
Do you provide a written quote with no hidden charges?
Yes NSH Waste Removal offer total transparency on all quotations. On first call you’ll need to outline all items that need to be collected. This allows us to offer an accurate free no obligation quotation with no hidden costs. The price that we offer is inclusive of VAT.
Can you show reviews or previous work?

Do I need to be home during the collection?
No. NSH Waste Removal offer two payment options. If you don’t want to be there at collection time then we’ll require a bank transfer payment before collection. If you would rather pay cash on collection, then someone would need to be there on collection to offer payment for rubbish removal.
Do you provide waste transfer notes?
Yes absolutely we offer waste transfer notes to all households, businesses and landlords. Transfer notes are called ‘Duty of Care’ notes and let you know where your rubbish will be going to which waste transfer station. This is a legal requirement for all waste removal companies.
How long will the job take?
From time of arrival, a single item can take up to 10 minutes to uplift. A full house clearance could take 2 to 3 hours to clear. It all depends on the size of house and access to the rubbish that needs to be collected. We would give you an accurate time-frame of how long it’ll take to uplift your rubbish on the initial call.
